This is the official online portal for admissions applications to the University for Development Studies (UDS). All prospective applicants are required to complete and submit an online application to be considered for admission. Admission into UDS is strictly merit-based. Applicants are strongly advised not to engage the services of individuals or groups who falsely present themselves as admission agents or contractors. The University for Development Studies takes a strong stance against such fraudulent practices and will not hesitate to pursue legal action against any persons found to be involved in such activities.

Buying Application e-Voucher
Ghanaian Applicants
- Cost of UDS Undergraduate e-Vouchers for the 2026/2027 Academic Year is GHS 200.00.
- Cost of UDS Postgraduate e-Vouchers for the 2026/2027 Academic Year is GHS 250.00.
- Visit any branch of GCB Bank, Prudential Bank, NIB, ADB, Stanbic Bank, Zenith Bank, Access Bank and Ecobank, and purchase UDS Admissions Application e-Voucher on or before 30-Jun-2026 for undergraduate applications and 30-Jun-2026 for posgraduate applications.
- Applicants should note that e-Vouchres can only be obtained from above authorised partner banks of UDS. Vouchers sold are non-refundable.
- For all bachelors degree and diploma programmes, the applicable e-voucher category is Undergraduate.
- For postgrduate diploma, masters and PhD applications, the applicable e-voucher category is Postgraduate.

International Applicants
- The University for Development Studies (UDS) has made special provisions for international applicants, including non-citizens of Ghana living both within the country and internationally, to ensure equal access to the admissions process.
- An e-Voucher is not a prerequisite for applications by international students.
- International students are required to sign up and activate a valid user account before getting started.

Set up your application account to start the application process
Ghanaian Applicants
- Ensure you have a valid e-Voucher and an active phone number and email address before starting the account registration process.

Access the application portal by clicking Apply Now to proceed to the login page.

On the login page, select the Sign Up tab to open the account registration form.
- Select Ghanaian Student as your student category.
- Fill in all required fields accurately with your personal and contact details.
- Username must be between 6 and 12 characters in length and may include alphanumeric characters and the symbols @, -, _, and ., with no spaces permitted.
- Password must be a minimum of six (6) characters in length and may include alphanumeric characters and the symbols @, _, -, ., $, #, and =.
- Carefully read and accept the Terms & Conditions to continue.
- Click the Sign Up button to complete the process of creating your account and begin your application.
- You will receive an SMS and e-mail containing details of your account information.
International Applicants
- Ensure you have an active phone number and email address before starting the account registration process. An e-Voucher is not required for international applicants.

Complete Application
- Log in to your account using your registered username and password.

Click Application Form either on the Dashboard or the Left Sidebar to display the application form.
- Complete all mandatory sections.
- Only passport-size photographs with a white background are accepted.
- Ghanaian applicants must provide details of their Ghana Card.
- Click Save and Continue to move to the next section. You can revisit previous sections by clicking the Previous button to make updates.
- For regular undergraduate applicants, the system automatically suggests suitable programmes based on high school subjects and grades.
- Postgraduate applicants are required to submit a proposal as part of the application.
- Continue to the final stage.
Submit and Track Your Application
At the final stage, review all information entered for accuracy before submission.
Once verified, click Submit Application to complete the process.
Congratulations! You have completed the application process.
NB: Please, do not print and submit the application form via post. Instead, print and submit it in person to your Head of Department when you report for studies, after you have been officially admitted by the University.
